I purchased a toyota highlander in april 2017 from the jim coleman dealer in bethesda, maryland. Since then, this terrible designed car is hurting me and my family. In the back of the car, the rear light covers stick out about 3 inches, the edges are as sharp as a keen knife (photos attached). When i unload stuff from the trunk, it often hurts me. I have tried to be very careful. I also reminded my teenage son with…

My driver side visor lost all tension. I had to either hold it up or tie it out of the way. I had it replaced at lowe toyota in warner robins, ga for $199.87. I would not expect a visor to tear up even for a 2011 model. It was a safety issue that needed to be fixed. I think there should be a recall on these visors and reimbursement for replacing them. Thanks, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of…

Toyota highlander (2008) with toyo a20 tires. Extremely high wear with low mileage; car hydroplanes with minimal wet road surface, power wheels lose traction, even with slow start. The toyo tire treads are almost worn off at 23000 miles; when in normal driving, one should expect 45000 miles. This is a very poor quality oem tire, and should be recalled. *tr

Toyota recall on 2010 toyota highlander -accelerator pedal reinforcement bar installation. I had recently brought my toyota highlander in for the recall and servicing the accelerator pedal and found out that the installation was not corrected with the possibility of the pedal coming apart while driving and causing serious injury or harm the first time around. I now have to face the vehicle having "to have to…

Gas pedal of 2010 toyota highlander got stuck on the weathertech driver's side floor liner while passing another vehicle. Luckily, my husband was driving and was able to put car in neutral and pull car over to side of the road and we did not get into an accident. When my husband removed the floor liner the gas pedal popped back up - so it got stuck on the liner. Also, earlier in the trip that day the weathertech…

My 2005 toyota highlander v6 4wd, which i purchased new, has been experiencing a hesitation/shifting problem for nearly as long as i have owned the vehicle. While the problem does not always occur, it is quite pronounced when it does and has resulted in very dangerous situations. The problem has been brought to the direct attention of toyota motor sales in california, and their response has been disturbingly poor.…
